A charger, dash camera or lighting accessory needs the correct electrical interface as well as physical space.

Identify the exact vehicle, battery chemistry, nominal voltage and accessory power method before buying. CTEK CS ONE (Gen 2) NA is listed as a battery charger, while VIOFO A229 Plus 2CH is a camera system. They connect for different purposes and their cables, fuses and operating conditions are not interchangeable.

For a battery charger, compare the charger page with the battery label and vehicle manual. Confirm regional plug type, supported chemistry and where the vehicle maker permits connection. Stop if the battery is damaged, frozen, unusually hot or part of a high-voltage propulsion system. For a dash camera, check camera position, cable route, memory card and whether parking recording requires a separate hardwire kit.

Keep wiring clear of pedals, steering parts, sharp edges and airbag deployment paths. Do not probe unknown circuits or substitute a larger fuse. A tidy cable route is not proof of a safe electrical connection. Ask a qualified installer when the vehicle uses managed charging, unfamiliar fuse technology or concealed airbags.
